...is to carry the spirit of the child into old age, which mean never losing your enthusiasm.
-Aldous Huxley
Today, my charming, exuberant, ever-youthful Peter Pan of a husband turns 40. He ushered in a new decade on Saturday, in his usual extravaganza of wine, women, and song. (OK, so it wasn't wine, but Pabst Blue Ribbon - to each his own!) It was a fabulous evening, full of good music and great friends. Also, some hats, the first knit by me:
Kind of cunning, isn't it? (And yes, he wore it on stage!)
And the second hat, captured on "film" by his band-mate & friend, Christina, who had some very lovely - and funny! - things to say about him:
Happy Birthday, Mr.Q! Thanks for being you. And also, for reaching things down off of high shelves. I'm a lucky gal! (And if you want to keep referring to yourself as "a pair of 20-year-olds, that's just fine with me. Coz I can tell people that's who I'm married to, which is way too much fun!)
(P.S. - I love you!)
